Do I have to use an analyzer with eMediTape?

A

No, all test data can be entered by the keyboard.    But if you have a supported analyzer, the test data will be imported faster and more accurately.

 Chemstrip 101 data error:

Q: I get an error when I click "get data from analyzer" with my Chemstrip 101 analyzer. It says "error in transmission no STX found".

A: Make sure your Roche Chemstrip 101 is set to bi-directional printing.  Press the following buttons on the analyzer: "MENU, SETUP1, MODE, INTERF, BIDIR"
